Cameron & Aiden | Newborn

Cameron, left, and little brother Aiden. They look so much alike!
One of the things I love most about being a photographer is the relationships I build with my clients. Whether I am taking a family portrait, photographing your wedding, or capturing the precious first moments with your new baby, I feel connected with each of my clients as they allow me a glimpse into their lives - and it is the biggest honor when my clients come back and allow me to continue documenting their families as they grow.

Cameron was one of my earliest newborn sessions, in the early winter of 2011, when I had been photographing newborns for about a year. I felt an immediate, easy rapport with his parents, Lisa and Jason, when they arrived for Cam's newborn session and we had a great time taking his pictures.

Over the years, I have had the distinct pleasure of documenting their family as it has grown, and I have to say, putting all of these photos together for this post brought tears to my eyes (as cliche as that sounds) - it really is such an amazing honor to be entrusted with capturing these beautiful moments for them.

For Cameron's first birthday, Lisa suggested a less traditional portrait session location - the Mystic Aquarium, and we were able to get some beautiful moments. This is, I think, one of my most memorable portrait sessions over the years.

When Lisa contacted me to book another newborn session in the summer of 2013, I was so excited to meet sweet little Aiden.

For the past two falls, we have gotten together at one state park or another to get family portraits as well. Looking at these photos brings such a great big smile to my face - from the very first newborn portraits of Cameron to this falls' family portrait - I hope it makes you smile too!

Thank you Lisa, Jason, Cameron & Aiden for allowing me to capture these moments!
